Pineapple Milkshake Pale
This beer is so bad (and we don’t mean in the ‘drain pour’ sense) that there is no turning back from the route it has chosen in life. As always, big American hops are at the fore with a massive dose of lactose for that thick mouthfeel and so much concentrated natural pineapple juice, you’ll think you’re sat on a Caribbean beach earning 20%.

Cask at The Cardinals Hat Lincoln. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and ta.ste are dominated by sweet pineapple. Light thin body

Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Hazy golden with a thick creamy head. Hoppy first with pineapple notes behind this, and some aroma of the fruit too.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light golden, hazy with a sizeable white head. Light tropical fruit, bready malts and a slight lactic note in the aroma. Superb taste: juicy and very sweet initially with a touch of bitter/sour pineapple in the finish. Touch of vanilla in the aftertaste. Thick, luscious, full-size body. This is so good, and works so well on cask.

Keg at montys. Pours deep orange, nose is pineapple, grapefruit, toffee, taste is huge juicy fruit, bitter, dry.
