(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Aug 2025) Dark copper colour with brief tan head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit, raisins, red berries, oak wood and brandy. Malty, vinous, sweet taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, sultanas, dates, oak wood, a touch of brandy and a mild herbal bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, sweet. Rich, strong and warming. Very nice.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van sinaasappel brandy. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, brandy, sinaasappel en honing.

Clear amber beer, big creamy yellowish head, very stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, grains, a bit fruity, pears, white grapes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, a bit creamy texture. Taste: sweet and sugary start, caramel, malty, a bitter touch, fruity notes, nice and rich, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter, grains, caramel, hoppy, a bit resinous, nice stuff, rich, malty, very pleasant amber ale!
