Aus der Flasche (bbe 26.05.2025) im 2024-12 getrunken. Schon beim öffnen zeigt dieses bernsteinfarbende Ale ein deutliches Zimtaroma. Am Gaumen tritt es etwas hinter dem Piniennadel-Aroma zurück. Wird dieses Ale etwas wärmer so kommt das Zimtaroma und ein Hauch der Chili hervor. Wieder mal ein spannende Ale!

Tap at the Goudse Eend, Gouda. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big cinnamon, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter, with a smooth, juicy red berry fruit, Christmas spice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Borefts 2024. A slightly hazy golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of cinnamon, pale malt. Taste of intense cinnamon, very dry, some pale malt, moderate bitterness.

Clear to little cloudy beige blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oh wow, that’s a lot of cinnamon, candy cane, a bit minty, hint of ginger. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of cinnamon, candy cane, soft acidity, a bit lemony, some oranges. Aftertaste: more cinnamon, orange peel, a bit sugary, meh. Feels like a gimmick beer more than an actual well thought out idea of a concept beer.

Cremiger hopfiger Beginn, sehr viel Zimt. Spannend aber nicht ganz passend, süßlich bleibend, leicht herb, komisch. 10/9/8/8//9
