When you’ve just received a fresh drop of NZ hops, the headliner of which is the highly prized and sought after Nectaron, what else are we to do as a brewery but celebrate the arrival of some of the most flavour rich hops on the planet than make a fully NZ hopped beer? The evenings are starting to draw out, so why not make it one of those hop-drenched pale ales we’ve become so accustomed to over our brewing journey? Sure why not. Grade Levels builds on our previous entries into our New Zealand hopped canon, possibly nudging itself into the lead as the best we’ve ever done. Nectaron leads the party on this pale ale, with those telltale tropical notes intensely present on the front of this beer, before an addition of brewery favourite Wai-Iti creates a straight up fruit cocktail of dense mango, pineapple, passionfruit, peach and apricot flavours a-plenty.

Can at home. Unclear yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are decently malty, very pleasantly hoppy, solidly bitter. Very easy drinkable. The third great pale ale from Polly's tonight!

Keg draught at the Teal Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light cream/yellow, hazy with a fluffy white head. Massive tropical fruit aroma, melon, pineapple, mango, with some orchard fruit. A little bit oniony from the hop intensity but I can live with that. Sweet taste, more tropical fruit and white grape with a gritty malt character. Pear drops on the finish. Full body, medium carbonation. Fantastic.
