Bottle via the brewer. Hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of red apple, rum-soaked raisins, candied plum, pear syrup, caramel, baba cake, brown rum, green apple, vague vanilla. Taste has very sweet red apple, pear & raisin in a caramelly, brown-sugary, bit syrupy malt body surrounded by spicy, phenolic notes. Herbal hops in the finish, lingering dried fruits, a whiff of vanilla and boozy brown rum alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, average carbonation. Very generous in sweetness and rum but works well.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull brown with light head. Aromas of apple brandy, caramel oak, raisins and toasted malts. Flavors of same with brown sugar and fruity rum. Tasty. Well balanced. Very nice
