Bottle. Almost clear copper golden to amber body under a thin, fast fading head. Nice complex aroma of mature apples, mild toffee, wood, vanilla and warming alcohol. Taste is really smooth but bold with sweet and acidic apples, marmalade, wood, vanilla, faint hint of Bourbon, toffee and warming alcohol. Body in perfect balance with a delicate combination of sweetness and fruity acidity. Does not taste like an ordinary cider nor ice cider, this is a quite unique style, almost like a fortified cider. Very nice, highly appreciated.

Pours hazy amber with no head. Aroma has notes of apple, caramel, vanilla, tartness and oak. Taste is medium sweet and medium sour with a long dryish, tart, apple, caramel, vanilla and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Mini-rbhd (trekkspilleren, eiendomsbaronen + undertegnede) på Bjørnøy sep-21: vi er nå ved en milepæl, nemlig trekkspillerens rating nr. 1000! Han har etter grundige overveielser valgt denne 0,375 flasken fra VP Kristiansand (se hele seremonien på FB): lett uklar rødlig kobber nesten uten skum. Raffinert aroma og enda mer raffinert smak med saftige epler, honning, portvin, vanilje, plommer og bringebær. Saftig, heftig, begeistret og begeistrende. Lett perlende munnfølelse. Et utmerket valg for denne milepælen.

Bottle shared with JMD and JFE at Bjørnøy 06.09.21. This is rating number 1.000 for JFE. Dark amber. Not much head. Aroma and taste with elements that I’ve never tasted before. The knowns are Whisky, plums, red berries, oak, ripe apples, vanilla and Tokayer.. Very good!

KYGGK 130621. Amber-orange color with no head. Aroma is bourbon, apple, alcohol. Flavor is bourbon, apple, alcohol,cellar notes, caramel, wood. Powerful cider.

Bottle, 375ml corked. An almost clear amber colored cider, still and headless. Sweetish aroma with apple jam, ripe apples, cellar hints, alcohol, and a hint of higher alcohol. Some booze hints. It's full-bodied, warming, with some carbonation. Sweet flavor with a caramel hint, lots of apple jam and ripe apples, with hints of grass, bourbon, wood and apple cores. Vinous, in an apple way. Delicious indeed this one, tasteful, arm chair drink. 210613
