500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mellow, caramel malty aroma, hints of honey and caramel, minimally leafy, hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, hints of caramel, honey. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, dense, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Simple and monotonous - meh!

Störtebeker Herbst-Festbier, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Münchberg. - Kupfergold, schwach trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase weich karamelsüßes Malz mit fast obergärig wirkender herbsüßer Frucht und mild-aromatischer Hopfung. - Antrunk üppig und schwer karamelmalzig mit leisem Münchner oder Toastmalz, aromatischer Zitrusfrucht, Grapefruitschale und solider herbaler Bittere mit mediterranem Touch (ätherische Kräuter). Nicht zu knappe aber gut integrierte Malzsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig; leise fuselig. Im Abgang aromatische herbale Hopfenherbe. - Mehr als ein gewöhnliches Oktoberfestbier, elegant malzig und mit unerwartet aromatischer, dennoch runder Hopfung. Ein Genußbier aus dem hohen Norden.
