Since we started brewing in 1996, the craft beer world has expanded – and so have the expert growers of our precious beer ingredients. Our relationships with hop suppliers and farmers are a huge part of how we’ve been able to churn out excellent IPA after excellent IPA. This beauty is brewed with a simple hop bill of Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, but in carefully selecting the very best of these varieties, we concocted an intensely fruity, triumphantly tropical IPA fit for commemorating 28 years of Stone Brewing.

12 can. Poured a hazy amber-orange color with a small off-white head. Flavor was bold and resinous with a lingering bitterness. A punchy beer that tastes just like you'd expect a West-Coast Stone to taste like, with just a little bit more lemon balm to it than in some of it's more classic offerings.

Appearance is golden, with a 1-finger foamy beige head. Aroma is mango, tangerine, orange, peach, apricot, hops. Taste is mango, orange, peach, piney hop hints, sweet malt, hop resin, grapefruit. Nice sweetness to this, good.

Can shared at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, herbal, light toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, fresh, toffee malt, light citrus, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced and dangerously drinkable.

I found this 12 oz can at my local beer place, glad to get a Stone product. My AGBG snifter is ready to receive the pour, I see a semi-hazy yellow-amber body with a quickly departing head of almost white foam. The carbonation is noticeably strong. I smell melon, a touch of hops and oranges, all rather underwhelming. The glass is lifted for a drink. Taste is an improvement. Pine, honeydew, a hint of pineapple, malt, floral and white bread. A nice bitterness, sort of makes this a hybrid IPA between the NE and WC styles I believe. An interesting enough beer, I thought Stone might get more adventurous for an anniversary brew

355ml can. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally perfumed, piney and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale and wheaty malty background, notes of orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is moderately bitter, zesty, citrusy fruity and slightly piney, minimally perfumed, floral hoppy, sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty basis, notes of orange, mandarine, pineapple, some grapefruit.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Balanced, very accessible, unresistant, highly drinkable - good.

12 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. Slightly hazy honey gold pour. Rocky beige head. Spotty lacing. Spicy hop nose. Flavor is a delicious balance of bittersweet citrus and resiny pine. Notes of grapefruit, orange pith and sticky pine. Some warming alcohol in middle. Dry , peppery hop finish. Another winner from Stone! Happy Anniversary, you filthy animals!

Can from Meny, Valby 06/12/2024 Hmmm not very hazy but decent enough fruity malty affair with notes or citrusy tangerine and grapefruit, some peachy accents, sweet sticky malty backbone, resinous sticky hoppy finish. Decent old skool leaning DIPA.
