Crisp Little Thing is a crusher, combining premium malts and laid-back hops for unreal balance and pure refreshment in every crisp, clean sip. It’s lowkey complex — a dash of sweetness, a flash of citrus — for irresistible flavor that’s easy-drinking above all else.

Malts: Acidulated, Munich, Pilsner
Hops: Mosaic
Yeast: Lager

Crisp Little Thing uses lager yeast, called Saccharomyces pastorianus, to help create its clean, lip-smacking finish. Lager yeast thrives at lower temperatures than ale (42–55 ºF), takes longer to ferment (21–28 days), but rewards us with those delicate and refreshing beers that make for easy drinking.

4/VII/24 - 12Fl. Oz. can from Ramstein Air Base gas station, shared @ the Gibb’s crib, canned: IX/20/23 (WTF?! We just bought this…) (2024-480) Thanks to Bryan G. for the beer!

Clear light yellow beer, no head. Aroma: citrus notes, malty, some bubble gum, a bit lemony. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty malty start, some citrus notes, a bit grassy, herbal. Aftertaste: sweet malts, caramel, a bit oxidized, some orange peel, meh. Very mediocre to plain right disappointing.

Draft at the original source, listed as Crisp Little Thing: Euro Edition, same abv, 25 IBU. Brewed in partnership with Brouwerij Dee Brabandere. New beer or not? Crystal clear pale yellow color lacey white head. Floral white pepper aroma. Taste is lightly bitter and lightly peppery with a quick finish. Highly drinkable

Draft. A light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, rice, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Pours nicely enough, a light golden lager with a one finger foamy head. Nose features a light hop, somewhat grassy but also a biscuity malt and a hint of dough. Flavor is super clean, with grassy and mildly catty hop flavors, medium bitterness, dry finish. Firm and dry biscuity malt flavors. Crisp it most definitely is, given that dry feel and carbonic bite.

Tap at the Chico venue. Pours gold with a white head. Floral/fruit aroma. Dry and pale stone fruit and floral. Decently bitter.

Not bad, and appropriately named. Crisp malt front leads to gentle sweetness towards the middle, followed by hints of grain and lemon. White bread and a subtle floral bitter streak on the finish. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but very drinkable.
