Notre légendaire meurtrière a acquis ses lettres de noblesse. En gratifiant la version originale de la Corriveau d'une touche de raffinement, grâce notamment à son conditionnement en fût de bourbon, notre maître-brasseur a donné naissance à La Corriveau impériale. La déguster, c'est contribuer à sa légende!

750 ml bottle at Gueuze tasting 2016, Ulfborg. Dark brown to black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, milk chocolate, coca, mild coffee, some perfume notes, dark dried fruits licorice, vanilla, wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Oily and smooth. 240616

Où, Quand, Comment : Bouteille, dégustée le 8/8/2013.
Visuel : Couleur : noire. Apparence : opaque.
Arôme : Malt rôti, chocolat, léger de vanille, légèrement boisé.
Goût : Entrée de bouche : Léger goût boisé et de vanille avec quelques traces de tabac. Une dominante de malt rôti et de chocolat noir est présente avec un goût réchauffant d’alcool et des notes de houblon herbeux et de café.
En bouche : Corps : moyen. Effervescence : moyenne. Texture : riche et légèrement crémeuse. Finale : plutôt longue, composée d’une légère amertume de rôti, de chocolat et d’alcool boisé avec des notes de houblon herbeux.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Loooots if bourbon, almost spoilt. Burnt. Quite boozy, too. Sweet palate, but no sweet taste. Not the kind of ImpStout I enjoy.

750ml bottle pours an opaque black with some creamy, tan head. Nose has chocolate, vanilla, malt and molasses, mild pepper. Flavor has light booze, barrel, vanilla, caramel, molasses. Full bodied, boozy finish. So-so.

Bottle at the nuplastikk returns tasting in VA. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted coffee, oak, whiskey. Tastes of chocolate, roasted coffee. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

From a bottle at the Nuplastikk returns DC gathering January 2016. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate. Flavors of dark stone fruits. Bitter roast finish

Bottle. Extremely dark brown color. Aroma is nutty burnt licorice and burnt brownies. Taste has licorice, burnt espresso, burnt bitter chocolate. very tasty.
