Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is wood, bourbon, chocolate. Medium mouth, rich malt, bourbon, roast, chocolate, very good.

750ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is dark chocolate berries coffee vanilla barrel notes. Taste is more of the sweetness roast malts chocolate coffee vanilla barrel bourbon notes.

Bottle thanks to duffman. Pours a cloudy black color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity nose. The flavor is chocolate, ash, vanilla, light bourbon. Solid.

75cl Bottle shared by JulienHuxley, thanks! Black colour, creamy thin beige head. Aroma of coffee and cream, vanilla, custard, roasted malts, bourbon. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, cream, some coffee, wood, roasted malts, bitter finish with some bourbon. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation. Nice.

Bottle @ Butchers Tears during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, bit soy sauce, cookie, vanilla, bourbon. Bit sweet in taste, again the liquid chocolate and bourbon combining. Great stuff.

Bottled at SBWF. Near black, beige head. Brandy and chocolate dominate the nose. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Cocoa and coffee, brandy and vanilla. Mid bitter finish. Mellow and highly likable.

Bottled@SBWF2014. More or less black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is spices, some liquorice, roasted malts, coffee and some sweetish wooden notes. Flavour is fruity, liquorice, some roasted malts, coffee, mild sweet alcohol notes as well as some slight berryish notes too.

Bottle at SBWF2014. My 100th Canadian rating. Dark black color, small brownish head. Aroma is weird mix of wilderness, paper and toast. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, wild yeast (mellow) and caramel. Quite odd beer.
