Bottle received as extra in trade. Thank you heatwaves! Pours clear deep amber with a rather big frothy and bubbly reddish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of spotty and sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is slightly malty, slightly fruity and tiny earthy with dark bread, grapefruit juice, pine needles, freshly cut grass, moist soil, resinous wood, alcohol, biscuits, mango, overripe pineapple, star fruit, brown sugar sweetened black currant tea and caramel. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity, herbal, earthy and malty with caramel, biscuits, grapefruit juice, oily pine cones, freshly cut grass, resinous wood, grapefruit juice, orange zest, lemon zest, alcohol, pineapple, mango, peach skins, brown sugar, black currant tea and hints of caramelized apples. Mouthfeel is round, slightly sticky sweet, slightly boozy, slightly oily bitter, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter and fruity with caramel, biscuits, grapefruit rinds, orange zest, moist grass, pine needles, resinous wood, mango, star fruit, alcohol, sweetened black currant tea and alcohol. Too sweet for me but fresh and quite good...

Man oh man I have wanted to try this for a long time. Big thanks to Pablo (pabloj671) for sharing this beast. The 22oz bomber pours with a clear deep copper body that has gold hues and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma unleashes big mango and malt sweetened grapefruit and tangelo fruitiness that slides right into a mix of pine and thin layers of dank onion hoppiness. Oh wow. This has been long overdue. The taste is just as big and rich as the nose indicated. I get juicy mango fruity sweetness, nice malt sweetened grapefruit and clementine to start and then the hop bitterness ratchets up with pine and dank onion and shallot hoppiness stirring things up. This is big and rich and smooth yet stays fairly restrained as the hop bitterness is firm but not brash. Solid effort here. I could drink this every day, no problem.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out big time caramel malts, syrupy notes, and some resinous hops. Flavour is very much on the sweeter side, bringing out loads of caramel, red fruits, and loads of resinous hops. Not overly bitter or one-sided in the hops. Usually I'm not a big fan of such sweet IPAs, but this is wonderfully balanced. Excellent stuff.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with white head. Nose and taste of tree bark, caramel malt, tree sap, resinous pine, dried citrus rind, orange peel and perfumy hops. A bit too perfumy for me. Medium body. Finishes dry resin/tree bark.
