clear yellow, small white head
aroma is ripe apple juice with perhaps a tiny bit of leather. alc. well hidden
flavor is sweet apple juice , ripe apples juice, alc. tastes like a super sweet apple cider or apple juice mixed with alcohol. the apple juce is kind of okay but the alc. adds some dankness that really doesn't help. subtler flavors from fermentation are not really to be found. end result is that it's a lot like cheap apple juice spiked with rum or vodka.

Can 33 cl. As "Woodgate Apple Cider", same strength and design. Pour a clear golden with a shortlived white head. Sweet aroma, more of pears than of apples. Medium body, sweet apple /pear aroma with a slight, underlying acidity. Think Somersby. 220326

Color dorado claro, limpia y transparente, forma pequeña corona de espuma de burbuja irregular que desvanece en anillo. Aroma dulzón con notas afrutadas (uva, manzana), y azúcar. En boca es muy ligera, dulce, afrutada, refrescante, aunque algo anodina.

0.33l can from the Lidl at the München main bus station. Clearish golden body, quickly disappearing body, some big bubbles. Sweet red apples. Fermented apple taste, overly sweet, somewhat unappealing. Not the best cider around....

Gekauft bei Lidl als „Woodgate Apple Cider“. Auf der Dose steht die industrielle Brauerei Eichbaum aus Mannheim als Produzent - seltsam, dachte die machen nur in Bier. Recht fruchtig und süß. Apfelsaft mit Schuss und Kohlensäure. Körper eher leicht. Der Alkohol fällt kaum auf. Erinnert mich stark an den „Somersby Apple Sparkling Cider“. Wobei ich den noch einen Hauch frischer und besser finde.
