On tap. Un arco olfattivo dominato dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, cracker, crosta di pane, frutta secca e agrumi.

Taster at Rome FCO Airport, light amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, sweet, malt, caramel. Not bad

On keg at Doppio Malto, Glasgow. Appearance - clear golden amber with a thin white head. Nose - toffee, bread and marzipan. Taste - more toffee and cakey. Palate - medium bodied, good texture, a touch sweet. Overall - quite nice.

Keg @ Doppio Malto in Glasgow city centre. Golden-amber with a head. Sweetish amber ale brew despite the name referring to a different colour. Pretty good regardless.

On tap at Doppio Malto Milano Duomo. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white to off- white head, caramel malty nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light dried fruits and sweetish dry finish.

Smell of sweet malt, faint caramel. Deep copper colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, some toffee and dried fruit. Soft carbon. Sweet. Superb.
