In 2022 we go back to the roots – rediscovering classic hops again. In April we decided to go big and give you an orthodox German Pils brewed using a double decoction process. The ingredients include 100% floor-malted Pilsner Malt and hops worthy of this beer – a Magnum variety for bitterness and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hop bringing a floral-herbal aroma.

Can, 5.5%. Mild fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is papery at first, and then comes a citric and even more papery note. I must admit it tastes quite German, but perhaps not in the way I prefer. Still quite süffig, and not bad at all. 636315 / 6 6 6 6 7,5

Can. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of malt and yeast. Bitter and malty aftertaste. Not bad for the style.

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Saturday session 1. Slightly unclear golden body under a huge, creamy white head. Aroma has malt and grain. Taste is rather smooth and mild pilsner malt, grain medium bitterness and unfortunately some diacetyl. Medium body with pleasant bitterness in aftertaste.

On tap at Brew Festival. A creamy white head forms over a lightly hazy golden colored body. The aroma has wort, bread and a perfumed hints. Sort of diacetyl-ish, with pine cone notes and flour. It's dry and medium to full-bodied, with a light bitterness. The flavor has pale malts, wort and bread, some grass and pine cone hints and that same diacetyl-ish touch found in the aroma. Medium length finish. Well... too much on the wort side this one, and that diacetyl-ish touch isn't welcomed, still it's a decent pilsner indeed. 220430

Ziołowe, lekko łodygowe, słodowe w stylu chlebka. Barwa złota, przejrzyste, piana szybko redukuje się do niskiej, brak lacingu. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa. Pełne, czyste. Brakuje lekkości niemieckiego pilsa. Jest dobrze.
