Dry hopped with Citra, Loral, Motueka & Nelson Sauvin
This beer marks our 2nd collaboration with absolute, bonafide, European craft beer legends Cloudwater. The last time Paul from Cloudwater visited was to brew our Berliner Dunkel so this time we had to go bigger...twice as big in fact. Boom Box is thick, juicy and refreshingly dry. It's sticky with the flavours of honey melon, pink grapefruit, fresh lime and white grape. It's loud and lively, bold and booming; double the flavour, double the enjoyment.

Appearance is hazy yellow, a big lasting white head. Aroma is orange, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus fruit hints, hop resin. Taste is piney hops, grapefruit, citrus, peach hints, tropical fruit. Berry fruit undertones. Sweet fruity finish.

A hazy dark golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, oranges, stone fruits. Taste of oranges, grapefruit, tangerine, mild resinous hops, moderate bitterness.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy and slightly dirty looking gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp pine and lively hop spice. A mild savoury skunk. Floral citrus, ripeish. Touch of candy fruits. Light and semi dry finish brings more hop spice. Different. Not sure it's entirely harmonious but it is pretty hop forward.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A clouded yellow straw coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is lovely big juicy dank hop, green mango. Waxy citrus, crayon. Nice rounded wheat, oats, flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy wheat, orange rind, mango, peach, Lychee. Palate is semi sweet creamy, moderate carbonation. Lovely.

Can at home, from Cloudwater online, 27/12/24. Murky orange topped with a white cap that thins but stays for the show. Nose is ripe tropicana, stone fruit, mandarin, lychee, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste comprises bitter orange, pine resin, guava, papaya, subtle hop spice, dank bite, grapefruit, gooseberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Solid punchy DIPA with a bitter leading edge allied to a good blend of NZ infused hop bitterness.
