Samen planten we 14.000 bomen

---------

This true masterpiece is brewed in deep secrecy by La Trappe, Tynt Meadow, and Zundert. It offers a refined tasting experience with a rich, well-balanced bittersweet profile. The aromas of sweet caramel, roasted malt, and delicate hints of peat are perfectly complemented by spicy and hoppy undertones. The full-bodied, bittersweet flavour with hints of roasted malt creates a unique and indulgent experience.
This Dubbel pays tribute to the three fundamental rules of authentic Trappist brewing, the foundation and cornerstone of this exceptional beer. A true pleasure for any beer enthusiast!

On tap at Pudel Baar, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has Belgian yeast, toasted chestnuts, and dry bready toffee. Flavour has dry bready toffee, Belgian yeast, and toasted chestnuts. The yeast doesn’t seem perfectly dialed in. It’s alright, but doesn’t strike me as an elite dubbel.
