33cl bottle from Hop op het Hof Bier & Spijsfestival (visited 9.6.2019) in Bergeijk in Nederland. F: medium, tan, good retention. C: orange deep gold, hazy. A: malty, mellow fruity, bit caramel, orange, toast. T: malty, caramel, mellow fruity, bit pineapple, toast, orange, more on the sweet side yet not bad yet like my homebrew lacks some more fresh fruity tones, medium body and carbonation, ok, enjoyed.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mitra' (Roermond), best before January 2019. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, slightly herbal-resiny aroma of mango, pineapple and some grapefruit with a touch of pine. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, rather fruity and a bit herbal-resiny taste of mango, orange jam, pineapple, some grapefruit and a touch of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly herbal-resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice beer, well crafted, I'm just not really into fruit IPA's.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy amber colour with a medium to large sized off white head. Smells fruits, sweet, slightly yeasty, dough. Tastes very sweet, distinct mango flavor. It's nice. It's not very deep or complicated, but it is a decent summer brew. Thin to medium body, nice carbo. I'm starting to taste iron/rust after a few sips so that's a downer. I guess the intent was good, but quality wise it could be improved. Also don't buy this because the label says IPA. It doesn't taste like one, it's more of a fruit beer.. Reminds me of Mongozo a bit, but less extreme.

Schenkt helder koper met floaties en witte kraag (ongefilterd), aroma valt wat tegen, fruit, zoet, ananas, den. Smaken zijn matig bitter, wat graan, redelijk zoet, mout, graan, glad en licht romig, vruchtensap, fruitsiroop, matige body, vrij basic en wat kunstmatig zelfs. Fruitigheid komt iig vrij beperkt van de hop .

Bottle @ home as Rakker "small batch" Lu'an Hawaiian IPA. Clear amber color, full sized white to off-white head that lasts for a short while. Aroma has a nice fruitiness to it, indeed with some pineapple, mango, peach. I like the fact that it's not very citrussy, I feel that's been overdone too many times. Flavor is lightly malts, moderately fruity, moderate to decently hoppy, moderately bitter. All things considered, it's very balanced, the flavors match well and it's easy to drink with a nice medium body, smooth texture and suitable decent carbonation that leaves you with a nice aftertaste. Well brewed, nice beer. I'd definitely buy a couple more if they had it nearby. Question is though: will every batch (and their other beers) be as good? As this is the first beer I've tried from them, I guess only time will tell. But this is definitely enjoyable.
