This West Coast IPA is a self-gift from Arnau Rovira, founding partner of Cervesa Espiga, for its tenth anniversary. The Cervesa Espiga project has completed 10 trips around the sun. To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we brewed the style we personally love the most with the hops we love the most. We gifted ourselves a West Coast IPA with Nelson Sauvin, Zeus, and Citra.
A 7-degree IPA with a crystalline and clean appearance, featuring a pale amber color. In the aroma, we perceive notes of raspberries and red fruits under a base of resinous and citrus notes provided by the hops chosen for the occasion: Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Zeus. The sip is rounded, balancing the pale ale malt and the hops. Nelson Sauvin dominates the hop profile, bringing notes of red fruits that resemble the aromatic profile of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which combined with the citrus notes, create a unique and very pleasant sip.
Celebrate with Espiga journey around the sun with our special anniversary edition, a West Coast IPA that holds within it the essence of life. The sun, the magician that nourishes the fields of cereals and hops under its light.
Each sip of this beer is a tribute to that solar journey and a celebration that transforms this energy into a unique festivity.
Malts: Barley malt.

Arôme sur un bouquet plaisant classique avec le strais d'une vraie bonne IPA - pas de haze surfait. Poudre d'oignon, anisé, citron vert avec une pointe de pamplemousse.
Palais reste assez classique comme IPA - léger résineux, sapin, agrimes en finesse avec une touche de pamplemousse. Douceur fruitée rappelant la mandarine repris en fin de bouche par un agréable herbacé. Finement épicé - sensation de poivre noir infusé. Malt revient sur la fin - pâle et pils.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A clear golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma and Taste of citrusy hops, flowers, grapefruit, tangerine, moderate bitterness.
