Undated can drunk 11/12/24. Clear, light blonde with a bit of brass. Large, frothy, white head, good retention. Matchstick from Riwaka is nice and minerally. Lemon zest, nectarine, kiwi, all sorts of complex stone and tropical fruits, really. Honey-like malts balance gently. Soft and malty in the mouth with a bit of bread and biscuit matching the soft, succulent honey. White grape, white peach, tons more stone fruit and zesty tropical fruit. The carbonation does suffer a bit from being both languid and seemingly forced. But the hops are wonderfully done with absolutely no punch. Could use a bit more bitterness and crisp lager character on the finish, though.

Junction Road store. Aromas are traditional pilsner with mild citrus and MJ. Flavors are similar to nose, good balance between bitter, sweet and slightly soft carbonation. Decent body but I wish the carbonation was a touch more crisp. Still, very drinkable beer.
