Basqueland 9th Anniversary collab.

Bonito del Norte is one of the “king fish” of the Bay of Biscay. Like the famous tinned version, this can holds a real liquid treasure inside. This collaborative Double Dry-hopped IPA, one of our favorite styles, is a true delight for the senses.

We’ve used a blend of pilsner malts as the base, along with malted oats, flaked oats, and raw wheat to create a beer with body and a smooth, silky mouthfeel.

We’ve added El Dorado, Idaho7, and innovative Krush hops in dry-hop for a short contact period to get the best out of them, layering delicious aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, guava, and passion fruit, with a subtle hint of woodiness.

Pale gold with a sudsy, off-white head. Aroma is a tropical mix, with the citrus and pineapple accompanied by sweet papaya and candy overtones. Taste is moderate bitter up front, turns suddenly sweeter before finishing, again, bitter. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation, delicate and smooth over the tongue. Nice one.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Lightly hazy amber, mid sized head. Caramelly grapefruit aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruit and caramel. Mid bitter finish.

Red grapefruit and tangerine, zesty citrus rind, light hop spice, papaya and a touch of lemony citrus washing in, medium bodied with a malty support, balanced medium bitter into the finish. Nice.

thanks fonefan! Slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is vanilla, floral, some mild fruity tones with a bit wooden and some slight sweet malts too. Flavour is floral, vanilla, fruits and some nectar with mild wooden and some slight oaty tones. Smooth.

Pours murky golden with a small and lacing white head. Aroma: ripe tropical fruits, orange zest and citrusy hops. Taste: ripe apricots and grapefruit. Soft mouthfeel. Light hop burn.
