Both Sean {our new Head Brewer} and Erwin {of Van Moll fame} have been keen to experiment with pink guava, so this collaboration recipe almost coded itself! Our sour sensation is intensified with mango and passionfruit before being dry-hopped with Azacca and Mosaic.

Can from Beermerchants.com. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Unmistakable guava, passionfruit & mango nose, spot of peach & bitter lemon in there too. Taste is the aforementioned main aromas plus a splash of lemon zest & pink grapefruit. Mouth puckering tart fruit malarkey on the palate. Nice sour.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon sour, dankness that's kind of hoppy, kind of tropical fruity. Taste is sharp, unripe mango, sherbet. Quite a dry finish. Good.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy lemon yellow. Thin lacing. Nose - lemon and sour. Darkness from guava rather than guava fruit. Taste - more guava skin than fruit. Again big lemon sourness throughout. Palate - close to medium bodied. Long persistent sourness. Overall - very nice.

440ml can - Pours a hazy pale lemon yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and tart, grapefruit along with the added mango and passionfruit fruit are there less so the guava. Some sweetness but also tart fruity taste, grapefruit and Granny Smith apple flavours with a sharpish acidic tartness to finish.

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Hazy pale yellow, quickly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of unripe plum, gooseberry, starfruit, passion fruit, lemon, guava. Taste has sour passion fruit, starfruit & guava, sweetish peach & pineapple, tad bitter. Floral hoppy finish, more yellow fruit, soft doughy maltiness. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Very good modern Sour.

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Unclear pale yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are tart, rhubarb notes, guess guava is in there. Not my thing.
