Thick, stable, light-pink head over lightly veiled red beer, lacey. Basil jumping out of the glass. Fruity, bit sweet but the basil is dominating. Sourish, mineral, basil-like, faintly minty, bit metallid. Dry for a fruitbeer. All the same, slightly sticky feel; good carbonation, medium bodied at best, slick. OK. Txs to Stef!

33cl can from the brewery. F: medium, pink, average retention. C: red, hazy. A: basil, strawberries, spicy, mineral. T: medium malty base, nice fresh forest strawberries, basil, citrus, mineral, dry on the palate, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, nice refreshing for the style, enjoyed for sure.

15cl sample @ BBP Bailli. Sans me tromper, je pense que cela est la 3ième (Charlottte Shake et une geuze?) bière à la fraise par BBP, un style que je trouve toujours compliqué à travailler sans vouloir tomber dnas un résultat trop sucré avec l'apport d'édulcorant.
Couleur pâle, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est frais de suite sur de fins effluves de fraise - délicat basilic (au contraire de la bouche) - coulis de fraise, léger rétro-nasal citrique et peu d'impact du sel.
Palais est fraus tirant bien sur la fraise avec ce côté compotée tout en ayant une balance plus citrique qui perce en retrait. Je peine à y trouver le basilic, le le volet salin reste un peu anecdotique. Reste cepenant assez sympa.

Clear bright light red beer, small creamy pink head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: strawberry jam, some bubble gum, sweet impression. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots and lots of strawberry jam, not sweet, no basil either. Aftertaste: soft acidity, a bit lemony, more strawberry jam, no sweet.
