Karmeliter Edel-Pils, Flasche von REWE, Aschach. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase feines helles Malz, etwas Vanillezucker, pilsuntypisch milde, ja blasse herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk weich und schlank hellmalzig, leicht getreidig und fein vanillesüß mit milder, blaß aromatischer herbaler Hopfung (die Website spricht von Hallertauer Tradition). Milder rezent, weich, leicht trocken. Im Abgang knappe aber noch ausreichende Hopfenherbe, ganz blasse Zitrusfrucht. - Ein Pilsener des süddeutschen Typus mit weich malzigem Körper und etwas zu knapper wenngleich gefälliger Hopfung; schön rund und durchaus trinkbar. Bottle. Pale blonde. Grassy soft maltaroma. Malty grassy hopbitter flavor. Grass and some oily and plastic notes in the aftertaste. A good balance between hops and malt saves this beer.

500ml bottle [as "Geburtstags-Bier">. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, floppy bitter hoppy overtones. Taste is monotonously bitter hoppy, strawy, very subtle grainy sweetness, minimally soapy. A turn-off.

Sehr hellgelbe Farbe, süßlich-würziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist wässrig-süßlich. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine sehr schöne Hopfenwürzigkeit dazu, die eher zu einem Export als zu einem Pils passt. Sehr pils-untypisch säuerlich-würzig. Der Nachgeschmack ist vollmundig-würzig und angenehm säuerlich-feinherb. Im Blindtest hätte ich auf Export getippt

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig bitter, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, malzig, getreidig, grasig, leicht metallisch.

Bright yellow colour with small head. Aroma is stale with grain, vegetables and hints of vanilla. Flavour is thin with grain and hints of vegetables. Bitter aftertaste. Not good.

Getreidig-herber Antrunk, der sich bei vielen Pils-Bieren feststellen lässt. Unpassend fällt eine Note auf, die sonst eher bei einem Alkoholentzug auftritt. Ansonsten lässt sich das Pils trinken, bietet aber keinerlei Besonderheiten. Zum Ende herb-bitter, ebenfalls in normalem Maße. /7/8/8//7

Bottle (Geburtstag-Bier) Stale/sour barley malt aroma. Medium yellow color with large head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor and bitter grass hops finish. More like a mediocre Helles.

Bottle, as Karmeliter Geburtstagsbier, thanks Pivnizub. Pale golden fine pearling bubbles, lacing white head. Light aromatic citric hop aroma. Medium to light body, spritzy, citrc hops, fine dry finish, ends slightly watery on the palate - quick finish.
