1L growler/bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a mocha head and a black body. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, wood and smoke. Taste is lightly lactic with chocolate, leather, some sweetness and espresso. Light bubbles and a somewhat dry finish for an imperial stout.

Tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Best aroma of the three, whisky, oak chips, vanilla. Also vanilla in taste. More rounded than the other ones.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Black colour, brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malts, vanilla, lots of alcohol sweetness. Flavour is even sweeter, vanilla, roasted malts, but a bit overpowered by the bourbon booze. Out of balance, but still very tasty.

2009-05-26, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Black color; medium head. The aroma is a bit woody. Maybe smoother than the other two versions, it has also less roasted malt character, and for once I don’t think this is a good thing; in the final there is an extremly light sourness that is out of place.
2009-05-16, draught at Københavnske Øldage 2009, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Black color, small creamy head. Like the other versions, it has a good chocolate flavor, this one with more roasted malt, some liquorice, maybe too young, and not the expected vanilla; the aroma is a bit cheesy.
