Cask conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Ruby coloured beer, served west country style with next to no head. Fruity malt aroma with a full flavour of red fruits. Packs a lot for a standard session bitter.

Ruby red in colour with only a low ring of foam. Fruit and roasted grain in aroma. Quite well flavoured dark English ale with accents of dark berries - black currant - and fruity sweetness. Slightly bitter finish (Half pint on cask at the great Lower Red Lion, St. Albans 27.09.2006).
