440ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky dark brown colour with little life. The aroma is vanilla, red berry fruits. The flavour is over moderate sweet and tart sour, with a silky smooth, rich, cherry, blackberry, blueberry, raisin, cola, sugary sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice in small quantities, but way too sweet to drink the whole can.

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown rather than the pitch black advertised, with a tan head. Aroma of cherry, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is very sweet, cherries stand out, chocolate and vanilla are well judged additions, nothing overpowers, nice tartness from the cherries. Medium bodied. Well done.

440ml can bought from the Offie and drunk at home. Dark brown, almost black, small uneven off-white head. Sweet chocolate with vanilla, cream cheese in the aroma. Tart taste with still loads of cakey sweetness. Light chocolate and cola nut in the finish. Light body, medium carbonation.

Black beer, thin but solid head. Smells of rich fruit. Flavour has a little tartness with the fruit, some rich chocolate, a bit of vanilla. A nicely balanced beer with a good body to it. Very drinkable and I'm a big fan of a dark sour.
