440ml can, Chez Sophie. Pitch black appearance, oily with a pale brown head. Vanilla, mocha and chocolate aroma. Super velvety textures, silky chocolate, vanilla latte with velvet chocolate cake berry shades.. gentle sour. Just hits it the square on the nose. Excellent.

Fruits and chocolate, what else? This is well balanced, and nice to drink! A bit sweet, but not too much, still, wouldn’t go for more than a half pint.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent dark tan head. The aroma is sweet - sour, rich roasted malt, tangy, coffee cake, black forest gateaux, milk chocolate, vinous and strawberry & balsamic vinegar. The taste is slick, oily, tangy, sweet - sour, granny smith apple, bircher muesli, overnight oats, toasty/roasty malts, bramble, strawberry with balsamic vinegar, jammy fruits, victoria sponge cake, light tannin and drying oak finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Really grew on me.

On tap at BrewDog Soho, pours a dirty black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tart blackberries, lots of lactose, and a touch of lacto. Flavour is sweet and sour, with tart blackberries, lots of lactose, and granola crunch. Surprisingly balanced, with a fruity, sweet finish. Pleasant for what it is.
