Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen “Speling van het Lot” (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and/or blends. Ferme Framboos is the result of macerating hand-picked whole organic raspberries on one-year old 3 Fonteinen lambic. The maceration period was more than 9 months at an intensity of one kilo of raspberries per liter of lambic. This version has been backblended with young lambic and we added some organic honey just prior to bottling. The resulting intensity still is at 420 grams of raspberries per liter of raspberry lambic. The raspberries originate from De Ferme Framboos (www.fermeframboos.be), a 100% organic fruit farmer in Huldenberg, South-East from Brussels, about 25 kilometers from Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen.

75cl bottle (bottled 20/09/17, BBF: 26/10/37) shared with Iznogud @ 3 Fonteinen lambik-O-droom (visited 31/10/2019). F: no real, some bubbles. C: red coppery with yellow touch against the light, almost clear. A: a lot of raspberries, bit lactic, red berries, bit funky, barnyard, woody, fruity vinegar touch. T: rich raspberries taste, red berries, bit vinegar fruity, red fruits, puckering, very refreshing, very good, soft carbonation, fully enjoyed.

Flaska på 3 Fonteinen lambik-O-droom, blend 49 season 16 - 17. Rostbrun/kopparfärgad med liten vit krona. Förvånad över att den inte är mer klarröd i färgen med tanke på mängden hallon. Djup syra och hallonton med snäll vinägertouch. Ingen kolsyra, mjuk och lätt oljig kropp. Mycket fat, vinäger, övergår i frisk citronsyrlighet. Drar nästan något åt en flemish red. Gott.

Bottle shared at 3F. Deep orange pinkish beer, with quite some hazy. Also looks like tequila sunrise in the glass. Huge raspberries, sour funk, light dirty farmhouse funk, red currants, old wood, green leaves, light spicy wheat, soft wheat. Lots of raspberries! Soft 🐄. Solid medium sour, very light bitter and decent amount of residual sweetness. Medium bodied with soft sparkly carbonation. Yummie!

Hazy orange red with a ring off white head. Aroma of big fresh and tart raspberry, oak notes, soft funk and citric notes. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Drank in between Ratebeer and Brewver, so notes are very limited. Mostly based myself on scores from Untapps, and memories. This one I really liked, so I should definately revisit when I have the chance, to get more specific notes.
