Old Ale is one of the strongest traditional varieties of the classic British ale. This full-bodied beer is characterized by a complex aroma of fruity esters, caramel, nuts and toffee, made even richer by the addition of oak chips the beer matured on.

Brown, only slightly transparent beer with medium but short lasting head. Amazing aroma of caramel, cream, toffee, milk chocolate and alcohol. High sweetness, light bitterness. Tastes a bit like whiskey with coke. Oily texture, medium body.

Bottle from torriman. Many thanks! Hazy murky brown colour, some beige foam. Soft carbonation. Easy drinkable. Caramel, bitter hops, bit earthy. Not very sweet. Well balanced. Good.

Bottle with expiry date 22.10.2016. Almost no head, black colour. Aroma is intensive, Belgian, wine, raisin. I did not recognise vanilla. Much alcohol. Not smooth. Something probably went wrong. Rating from 18/6/2015 Bottle. Black colour with ruby reflexes, minimal head. Aroma is intensive old wood, soma vanilla, raisin, prune, dark chocolate, warming alcohol. Light bitterness, not sweet. Full body, thick texture, average carbonation. Very good. 7/2/6/3/18

Butelka 0.5l (27.10.2015). Piwo o ciemno-rubinowej, opalizujacej barwie z kremowa piana, niezbyt obfita ale w miare dlugo utrzymujaca sie na piwie. Aromat subtelny lekko rozpuszczalnikowy, slodowy, karmelowy, slodkawy z wyczuwalna nuta wanilii, calkiem przyjemny. Piwo delikatnie wytrawne z charakterystycznym posmakiem debowej beczki, slodowe z nuta winilii. Delikatny alkohol w tle, przyjemnie rozgrzewa a slodycz rozplywa sie na podniebieniu. Piwo jak najbardziej tresciwe, gladkie, mocne, pije sie powoli, ogolnie calkiem ciekawe piwo.
