Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Dark and glossy with a cola tinge. No head. Combines chocolate and sweet fruit with a berry and booze edge. Salted caramel edge. Thick. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Luxurious.

Oily and sweet, a little cloying, faint metallic bite, stewed dark fruits, toffee, caramel. Thick and chewy. Lightly warming. Tasty in small doses.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to me. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan. Some lumps of what tastes like chocolate!!! Smooth viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth rich milk chocolate. Very mild coconut. The apple brandy is hard to pick up. This tastes like chocolate liqueur. Okay, the apple brandy comes through on the back end after the bulk of the chocolate attack is over. Off its tits 3 Sons goodness.

Bottle @Ulfborg. Black, oily no head. Rich dark malty aroma, vanilla, coconut, a few tiny coconut floaties on top. Thick, full bodied. Rich, sweet dark malty flavour, vanilla, coconut and warming brandy.

30/11/2024. Bottle shared at Ulfborg tasting. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is rich dark chocolate, roasted malt, toasted coconut, vanilla, milk chocolate, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, slight tartness. Fill bodied, smooth and oily, low carbonation. Lovely sipper.
