On tap @ Patricks. Hazy orange golden body with a nice off-white head. Nice aroma, a combination of citric fruit and Belgium fruity/spicy yeast with a hint of caramel malt. Flavor is light malty with citric fruit, pine, yeast and relatively high bitterness. Medium body. Nice and refreshing crossover beer, a bit on the sweeter side, but definitivly nice and refreshing.

0.5l bottle. Oh my this smells fantastic! The body is cloudy and lovely orange in color, and it has a medium sized almost fluffy just off-white top. So fresh and hoppy fruity aroma! Lots of citrus, fresh hops, something sweet in the background, cortex, green pine cones and candy. I could nose this all day any day. It actually reminds me a bit of one of my favorite beers from Haandbryggeriet, Fyr & Flamme. It has a soft prickling carbonation level, and the mouthfeel is surprisingly cloudy and light. The taste is really infused with grapefruit. Lots of citrus and fresh hops. The Belgian influence is definitely noticeable in this. It has a ending that's a bit to mouthdrying compared to my preferences. Almost cortex like. A lovely fruity Belgian inspired American pale ale from Norway. Or Drammen if you prefer. Not my last bottle. 22.03.2013

On tap at Patricks. It’s an unclear, golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Typical French saison yeast aroma, fruity and lightly spiced, grape fruit and orange peel. Alcohol notes, fruityness from the yeast, bitterness from the hops, and some spiced notes in the flavor. Full body, soft and pleasant carbonation, quite dry. Pleasant bitterness in the finish. Nice indeed! 130520

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy deep golden colour, large and creamy white head. Lovely aroma of fruity (American and/or NZ?) hops (tropical fruits, citrus) and Belgian yeast. The flavour is also firmly hoppy throughout, with solid fruity notes, but is not too bitter. Soft mouthfeel. Very good beer. This is apparently an APA or IPA with Belgian yeast.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a off-white medium head. Nice fruity aromas with orange peel, spices, fruity hops and apricot. Very balanced. The flavours mirrors the aroma with addition of more fruity hops that results in a dry ending. Feels very fresh and delightful. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. Incredibly balanced, flavourful and easy-drinking at the same time. A nice blend between a Belgian ale and a traditional pale ale.

500ml bottle Vertshuset Skarven, shared with Elisabeth and Stefan. Bubbly, patchy surface. Sparse lacing. Unclear, orange coloured body. Citrus and dusty hops to the nose, mid-sweet. Taste of grapefruits together with juicy malts, and mild yeasty fruitiness. Bittersweet tail. Well balanced and fine bodied. Nice (Tromsø, 20.04.2013).

Small shiny white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Gooseberry, dried fruit, and barnyard aroma with mealy notes. Dry-sweet and faintly acidic dried fruit, gooseberry and banana (!?) aste with dusty funky notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry wooden resiny gooseberry aftertaste with soapy dusty notes. Nice, drinkable, unusual. (0.2l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)
