Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention with some light lacing. Aroma of dry hoppy notes with lightly sweet Belgian malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some lightly sweet Belgian malt notes with some great dry hoppy notes with light fruity notes. Body is full with great bottle conditioning and no apparent alcohol. Refreshing hoppy notes makes for an enjoyable beer.

Very hazy amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate has a minerally crisp bite and is semi dry. Sweet and sour Belgian yeast. Lovely mango hop fruits backed by peach and lesser orange and grapefruit. The malt base is light and has a little cream. All comes together very well indeed. Mild bitter hop linger.

4oz pour at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with some lacing, white head. Nose of candy sugar, grass, orange, yeast, soap. Flavor is grassy, yeasty, grapefruit, lemon, heavy soap. Very sudsy finish. Maybe too much brett? A messy Orval.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
