– European Beer Star 2017.

DESCRIPTION:
A top-fermented beer. Dark, almost black like dark chocolate, this velvety beer
has a hint of milky sweetness, finishing with a refined bitterness. Sweeter and
more velvety than a typical stout. The sweetness comes from the use of lactose.
Also known as a cream stout, it pairs perfectly with desserts and chocolate.
This beer won a bronze medal in Europe's largest beer competition, European
Beer Star 2017.

Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2017. Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach dunklem süßen Malz, Schokolade. Geschmack ist mild schokoladig, Vanille, leicht röstmalzig.

Draught at KØ16. Good aroma. Black colour. Small stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is roasted with a mild coffe note, not very bitter but with a good lactose note. Gets a bit sweet in the finish, but OK. Late roasted finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Grzesiek79. Aroma of sweet milk and chocolate. Dark brown color with a thin head. Creamy palate. Slight sweetness, chocolate, coffee and toffee.
