Crafted with care, this beer showcases the vibrant essence of freshly harvested 2023 Aurora hops from our organic-certified fields in Hollenburg. Known for their citrusy and floral aroma, Aurora hops bring a bright, zesty character to this brew. Using the traditional wet hopping method, the hops are added fresh from the harvest, capturing their full flavor and aromatic potential. The spontaneous fermentation process adds a natural complexity, resulting in a beer that's both refreshingly unique and deeply rooted in sustainability.

Bottle. Gusher, foam keeps coming out of the bottle. Color: Murky golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Fruity grape, funky, hints of leather. Taste: Citric tartness, lemon, grape, leathery funk, horse manure, some oak wood and hop. Medium tart, light bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Interesting.

Bottle, 375 ml courtesy of Hopfengrund and Werckmeister. Shared with Ambasada people. Hazy orange with medium white head. Funk, citric notes, grapes, some stone fruit, medium sourness. Nice.

From bottle at Carnivale Brettanomyces. Grainy and funky aroma with notes of hay, bready grain, touch of stone fruit. Medium sour, light dry finish. Body is medium. Nice stuff.

Bottle sampled at Carnivale. But hazy golden. Zesty, sour grains, soft citrus juice, wheat, funk, vanilla, peach. Medium sour, less sweet. Medium bodied.

0,375l bottle at home. Bb 16.01.2028. amber hazy color, medium big white head. Smells funky, earthy, leathery, peppery, grapes, tannins, oak. Nice to very nice smell. Full body, pearly carbonation. Tastes grassy, herbal, citric, tobacco, oak, subtle white grape notes, minerals, spices. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of grassy, earthy and grape notes. Very good ones, good balance, very well integrated sourness. Rather on the bubbly side

Die Optik erscheint in einem Orange-Gold-Bernstein-Ocker und ist dabei kräftig trüb. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt dabei flaumig-champagnerartig und hält mäßig gut. Die Nase wird von fruchtigen (Zitrus, Pfirsich, Marille) bis kräuterigen Duftnoten verwöhnt. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, gut rezent, fruchtig-saftig und vor allem fruchtig-sauer. Im Mund zeigt sich ein Körper mit leichter Fülle, kräftiger, feiner Rezenz, samtiger Textur, sowie kräftiger Trockenheit und Säure. Auf Gaumen und Zunge nimmt man weiterhin saftig-fruchtige Noten von Zitrus, Pfirsich und Marille wahr. Dazu eine hintergründige Kräuternote und eine kräftige Säure. Dieses Bier erscheint somit sehr erfrischend, angenehm und relativ sauer. Vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache - mir persönlich gefällt es aber sehr gut und so will ich auch von einer sehr guten Drinkability sprechen. Im Nachtrunk baut die Rezenz ab. Frucht, Säure und ein leicht herber Wildhefecharakter bleiben lange erhalten.
Mein Fazit: Ein tolles, sehr erfrischendes Naturprodukt!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Saturday. Hazy golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma and Taste of dry tart yellow fruits, white grapes, funk.
