Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Deeper amber with a thin head. Has a good recognisable pale ale texture, quite fruity, and its strength notable.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - oddly I’m getting creamy strawberries. Taste - malt citrus and tonnes of resin. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry prolonged bitter finish. Overall - the sum of the parts is greater.

Bottle from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of grass, earth and lemon. Flavour of earth, sorrel, marmalade and a peppery finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily mouthfeel. Fizzy. Light and hoppy. Nice.

Clear bronze beer with a thin bubbly head. Light citrus aroma. Taste is bitter hop, lemony citrus and a touch of balancing sweetness. If it didn’t have a slightly watery edge it’d be very nice.

500ml bottle: BBE Mar 2016. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home in Mar 15. Clear light amber body with an off-white pillow of foam on top. Bitter hoppy taste with a nose to match, not too sure about the citrus claims, some grapefruit maybe, later in the taste. Piny and spicy hops, yes. More than OK, this is a good, proper IPA.

Cask at White Lady. Pours a clear amber, good white head and lacing . Good hoppy aroma, lots of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste fails to deliver, erring towards the sweet and watery on the aftertaste. Expected better of this.
