Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy beige topping. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of burnt pine, cocoa, orange rind, well toasted malts, a little ashy roast. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation and somewhat velvety texture. Superb balance in the finish, bittersweet cocoa, more toasted pine, citrusy accents. Stellar beer.
