Golden yellow in colour, this geuze is medium bodied and re-fermented in the bottle. Please note this is the 2020 version. It has a corked top. It consists of 95% mild lambic that has aged at least 3 years and 5% young lambic. It has a mildly sour taste. Gueuze Mariage Parfait won a bronze medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge 2018 for the category of Old Style Gueuze-Lambic. In 2019, it was awarded a silver medal at the World Beer Awards for the category of “World’s Best Gueuze”. In 2024, it was also awarded a silver medal at the World Beer Awards.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5
Aromas are malt, honey, brett, spice and a touch of barnyard. Flavors are similar to nose, fairly dry with just a hint of sweet in back and bitter. Good body in carbonation. Really not all that interesting. Wonder what it would be like with some decent aging.
