440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 24. Cheers Mike for rescuing this can from the shelves of Asda. Pitch black pour, thin brown head. Decent sweetness coming through, chocolatey tones, grainy.. not bad for a Guy Ritchie homebrew.

440ml can from Asda, Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, earthy, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, chocolate, light milky, light dry coffee, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with lively initial carbonation.

Can from Asda Supermarket, Manchester. Black with a light-brown head. Smooth textured and tasting imperial, with its strength well hidden, although there's a blast of this in its aftertaste. Milky and mildly sweet.
