0.33l bottle. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, flowers, yeast and biscuit. Pours hazy brown color with medium sized frothy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing dried fruity, yeasty and phenolic, following is sweet caramelly, herbal and slightly peppery, mouthfeel is mild spicy and warming, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Fair enough…

Ensemble correct.

330ml bottle [shared by Claudius - thanks!]. Slightly cloudy, chestnut colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Minimally toasty and nutty, dark malty aroma, tart-ish, grassy, hoppy and minimally smoky overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly nutty and toasty malty, minimally smoky, minimally fruity and herbal hoppy, hints of nougat, red berries.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Harmonious, balanced, not overly complex - OK.
Festival médiéval!

Thuis uit een flesje. Goed beige schuim, mooie amber kleur. GeIen het abv (6,4) valt de smaak me iets tegen, beetje vlak.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber russet colour it was clear until I poured some of the yeast in the glass. Lasting beige head. Malty aroma. Some red jammy fruit. Strawberry jam flavour. Some sweetness in the mouth and then some bitterness on the finish. A touch of rubber fades and the strawberry jam comes through. A bit weird but ok.

Bottled. Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, earth, some caramel and mild herbal notes to it. Flavour is caramel malts, mild earth, some fruitiness as well as mild floral and berryish notes to it. Quite thin palate for being 6.5 % abv.
