Brewed with our friends from Nottingham’s Castle Rock, this tropical pale is extravagantly hopped with a quintet of hops coupled with a clean malt base and lashings of fresh pineapple juice to deliver a delightfully zingy pale.

440ml can from Anthony's of Wellington, drank at home on 26th October 2024 (can BB 31st January 2025). Cloudy, pale golden body, white topping. Pineapple aroma and main taste, some less sweet citrus fruits kick in too. Took a while to drink it to be honest, most likely the combination of pineapple juice, 5 different hops and 3 different grains.

Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Stourbridge. Pours hazy light gold with a small head. Aroma is sherbet, grapefruit and papaya. Taste has sweet yeasty lemon with a pineapple and grapefruit aftertaste.

Keg @ Salopian Brewery. Pours opaque yellow, small white head. No information on the pumpclip about the beer. Took a swig without knowing anything about the beer and found it a bit odd. As if exotic fruit juice had been added in the glass half and half with a pale ale. My Reid below passed by and informed me it was a pineapple IPA. Didn't really come across as an IPA. Perhaps a tangy hoppy bitterness, finishing dry.. medium bodied. Malt base appears lacking. Not sure about this one.

Proper cloudy/murky yellow gold with a bubbly white head, looks like fruit juice. Aroma is tropical fruits, it's pretty fizzy with pineapple and a big kick up front, some light malt pipes up before it all smooths out to a dry bitter fruity finish
