Bei unserer Neuinterpretation dieses altenglischen Bierstils kombinieren wir in einer speziellen Kalthopfung die beiden Hopfensorten Hallertauer Mittelfrüh und den amerikanischen Citra. So entsteht ein IPA mit einer einzigartig fruchtig-herben Hopfenaromatik, einer besonders ausgewogenen Bittere und einer dezenten Süße. Ein klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit Aromen von Aprikose, Orange und Holunderblüten.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden orange colour with a medium to big sized white head. Smells orange peel, floral. I expected more smell. Tastes some hops, bitter, malty. Could use more body, less malts and more hops. Nice carbo.

Nice to see the Germans experimenting a bit. Well crafted IPA from this Frankfurt brewery. Sweet, piney aroma, medium amber body with light beige head.Taste is pine, hops, tofee, butter. A nice treat and a break from the Reinheitsgebot.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color, topped by a dense, light beige head of finger-thick size. Some lacings. There’s a touch of tooth paste in the aroma, with peaches, some pineapple, notes of malt and sugar. Decent bitterness in the flavor, but I wouldn’t bother with more of it. Peaches, generic fruitynes and some malty sugars. Medium body, super smooth on the palate. Decent bitterness in the finish. A pleasant, although a bit weak, beer. 120914

Bottle, 6.8%. Mild hop aroma of sweet wine or something. Reminds me of nelson sauvin, but those are not mentioned on the label. Clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty with a touch of alcohol. Slightly spicy, but not easily defined.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy off-white head. Clear, slightly vinous aroma of hops. Bitter, lingering flavour of hops with grassy and coriander notes. Richly carbonated. Not bad, but far from the excessively elaborate taste experience described on the label.

Bottle, RB Århus tasting @ Christers. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light spice, fruity hops, peach. Flavor is malt, little caramel, spice, fruity hops. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 040313

Bottle @ Aarhus-Randers tasting. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - peach. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 0403013
