Cask @ Henry Tudor Inn, Shrewsbury. Clear pale gold, white head. Struggling to taste much of anything.. very distant floral herbal notes that could possibly be interpreted as gooseberry, maybe! Even by Joules standards this is pretty bland. Bizarre.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Market Vaults, Tamworth on 13th April 2024. Clean and clear golden body, off-white crown. This isn't a tart Gooseberry beer at all really, hints of Gooseberry but certainly not sour or cheek sucking. I actually quite liked it's subtle flavours and aroma.

Cask at Rose & Crown, Stafford. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber witha small scummy off-white head and good lacing. Thereโs berry fruits and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with some underlying sharpness. Briefly malty at the start, a mix of hops soon shows through, plus gooseberries and hints of autumn fruits and golden syrup. Some bitterness in the dry finish. This is reasonable, but not really my sort of beer.
