A ripe medley of new World hops gives complex aromas of citrus and pine and a satisfying rich bitterness. It’s a long way, but it'll take you there.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, malt, yeasty, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled half-pint at the Boot on 24th March 2024. Slight haze in my golden pour, white crown. Citrus front with an orange lead, some semi-sweet malt action and semi-dank overall.

Cask at Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is a mix of malts and floral hops. In the mouth it is sweet and tangy with some hops, and traces of tangerine. Later on it becomes increasingly bitter with a bitter finish. It’s reasonable but not outstanding.

Cask pint @ Salopian, the pub. Clear golden amber, loose white head. Initial sip presents tentle marmalade notes with a touch of orange peel and earthy English hop suggestions.. lightly caramelised malt emerges with a robust bitterness. Bit of an old school pale I suppose, with a teasing glimpse of tropical sweetness to round it off.

Clear and golden with a bubbly white head and a soft aroma of marmalade. Light bodied, fresh and fruity up front, some ripe tropicals evident, with a dry, citrusy bitter finish
