Friday 16th February 2024, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury; Cask Beer Festival. Hand-pulled half-pint. First beer I had, clean golden pour, white crown, in good condition. Slight orange aroma and initial taste, semi-sweet malts arrive mid-sip. Decent start to the session.

Cask @ Stonehouse Brewery. Deep golden look in the glass, white head. Caramelised Vienna malt aroma, continuing to taste. Nicely fresh with smooth malty character, medium to light bodied, gentle floral shades, not hugely flavoursome but pintworthy all the same.
