440ml can from The Barrel Store by Attic, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, thin, broken, tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dry, chocolate, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg @ Attic Barrel Store, Birmingham with blackhaddock. Pours dark with a good tan head. Wonderfully chocolatey nose, flavour profile is nicely chocolatey, milky with chocolate muffin hints, perhaps lighter bodied than I expected but generally decent.

Keg half-pint with Mat in the Barrel Store on 25th January 2024. Mostly likely my favourite beer of the day. Black bodied, tanned crust. Sweet and chocolatey, not really oily or rich, but a very pleasant Sweet Stout that hasn't been added too (no pastry was harmed brewing this).
