Keg pint @ Bridge End, Llangollen mid-way through a Boxing Day canal ride with Soph from Chirk (and back to Chirk). Pours a generally clear golden amber, good white cushion atop. Aroma of toffee, golden malt. Continues to taste, indeed white a smooth, almost creamy palate, pleasant caramelised malt character, soft bitterness. No complaints.

Keg at Baker Street, Preston, for the tick. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light toffee. Taste is thin, caramel, syrupy. Wouldn't want to let it warm up. Astringent finish.
