A seasonal hard cider that takes the sweet taste of apples and combines it with fall spice. We started this cider with the Oak Hill Blend and then added a spice mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ginger, and allspice. This tasty cider is like enjoying an apple pie in a can!

Whew, they are not subtle with their adjunct additions! They smell good and aren't astringent, but they only allow some sweet apple sugars to break through on the end.
Same for the flavor. Bolstered by a sweet base, the cider is at least balanced in a sweet/dry sense, but is very heavy-handed with the spice. Drinkable in a dessert/comforting way, but not something of which I would want much.

Draft @ Carlson Orchards. Hazed gold appearance. Soft ginger and sweet apple fruit. Gentle honey and ginger shades with light apple pie filling.. ok.
