Cask at Prince of Wales, Birmingham. Crystal clear gold with small white head. Sweet grape and biscuit notes. Light, semi-drying. Thin in taste. Disappointing, I've had some very good beers from this brewery but this isn't one of them.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light yellow and clear with a small whitish head. Light grainy aroma, maybe a touch of Chardonnnay. Taste is sweet, shot through with notes of white wine, but the juxtaposition is jarring. Bitter and slightly acrid aftertaste. This was a beer I was really looking forward to trying but it's a bit weird.

Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazed gold with white head. Biscuity malt nose. Taste is biscuity malt with a bitterness that suggests it's been hanging around in the barrel too long. No grape notes here whatsoever. Not fresh tasting, unclean lines for sure. I think this is the last time I'll ever visit this place, until the next new management comes in anyway. Rated objectively.
