Small coarse white head. Hazy deep yellow body. Deep grassy fruity earthy aroma with peas and malts notes, very harmonic. Dry-acidic earthy peas and flowers taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Dry grassy floral aftertaste with citric peas notes and some wood. Very nice. (0.25l cask, The Old Brewery, Greenwich.)

A smooth keg ale. A bit sweet and malty at first with a drier hop finish but remains fresh tasting throughout.

Nice, orange beer with thin beige head. Aroma is mild and I can’t find out what it suppose to be: untypical, vegetables, cabbage? even soap. Flavour is like aroma: mild, untypical, some bitterness and again cabbage? Light to drink but still body is strong enought and this is not watery. Meantime London Pale Ale is weird beer and there are something strange in the aroma and flavour, and I don’t like that. I had some expectations but these expectations won’t fullfill, not even close, bad disappointment.

(Bottle on 2009-01-16) Deep amber. Clear. Small, quite quickly disappearing white head. Fruity and quite strong hop aromas in nose. Full bodied and dry palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Hops, grass, malts, bitterness and hint of sweetness in taste. Medium bitterness in aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a very light yelow head. There is a distinct aroma of malt and hops and not much else. The body is light. Easy to drink, hop bitterness in the finish. Tastes a lot like a well hopped lager.
